1. Who we are

“GoodCloud”, “we”, “us” means Good Cloud PTY LTD, trading as GoodCloud.ai.
Support email: support@goodcloud.ai
Business location: Cape Town, South Africa
Registered address: [Add your registered address]
VAT: We are not VAT registered.

2. What we provide

GoodCloud provides subscription-based services for creating and running WordPress websites. Depending on the plan you choose, this can include:

  • Website or demo site provisioning
  • Managed WordPress hosting and maintenance
  • Backups and basic security measures
  • Performance features such as a CDN (where included)
  • Support and optional add-ons

Plan inclusions are shown on the pricing page and at checkout.

3. Accounts and access

  • You must provide accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping login details private.
  • You must be 18 or older, or have permission from a legal guardian.

4. Demo sites and trials

If we provide a demo, sandbox, or trial site, it is temporary and may expire after a set period. Demo sites are for evaluation and testing. They are not intended for production use unless you go live on a paid plan.

5. Payments and billing

5.1 Merchant of Record

For many purchases, payment is processed by Paddle as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. This means Paddle may appear on your bank statement and will issue receipts and handle taxes required on the transaction.

5.2 Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. Access usually continues until the end of the current billing period.

5.3 Taxes

Where required, taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) may be applied at checkout. The final amount is shown before you pay. Where Paddle is Merchant of Record, Paddle may calculate, collect, and remit taxes on the transaction.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy:
https://goodcloud.ai/refund-policy/

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Break any law or infringe rights
  • Host or distribute malware, phishing, scams, or harmful code
  • Send spam or run abusive automation
  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts
  • Publish content that is hateful, exploitative, or illegal

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

8. Your content and site responsibility

You are responsible for content you publish on your site, including text, images, downloads, and user data you collect. You confirm you have the rights to use any content you upload.

9. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party platforms (for example WordPress plugins, hosting infrastructure, payment processors, and email systems). Their terms may also apply. We are not responsible for outages or changes caused by third parties outside our control.

10. Service changes and availability

We may change, update, or discontinue parts of the Service. Where a change materially affects paid customers, we will try to give reasonable notice.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect losses (such as loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption).
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, do not pay, or if required by law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa will have jurisdiction, unless consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
